Meet The Team
Madeline
Madeline has been with Rose’s Bridal since 2012, when it originally opened in Stevenage. Madeline takes care of the accounts and keeps “The Team” on their toes to ensure that the companies standards are being kept to the original ethos – CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!
Madeline took over the business in September 2019 and completely rebranded, giving the business a fresh modern feel. Alongside Donna, Madeline chose to relocate the company to the beautiful premises we have now.
Donna
Donna is one of the original team from 2012. She is Madeline’s daughter and the business has always been named after her daughter, Rose. She is married with three children.
Donna assists with the social media and admin. You will find her helping out on a weekend and, occasionally, during the week in the boutique.
Donna and Sophie work very well as a team and the pair of them love attending the Trade Shows and selecting the perfect dresses from our carefully selected designers.
Keira
Keira joined “The Team” in December 2022 and fitted in perfectly. She is now only working for us during her University breaks.
She purchased her Prom dress from us, so she knows and understands our Customer Service standards.
Keira studied Fashion and Textiles at Bedford College and is now attending UEA university to study for her Degree in Fashion. She has a passion for styles and fabrics and enjoys helping the bridesmaids and Prom girls to find the perfect dresses for their events. She has an amazing rapport with everyone.
Sara
Sara joined the company in February 2024 and assists Bridesmaids and Prom girls to find their dream dresses.
Sara came to us with no experience at all but has learnt a lot through her training. She loves helping Bridesmaids and Prom girls to find the perfect dress. She has a flair for fashion and colourways.
Sophie
Sophie is our recommended seamstress and has been part of “The Team” since late 2017. Sophie is self-employed as she has her own company, Sophie’s Stitches. She is married with two beautiful children.
You will often find Sophie in the boutique or assisting at wedding fairs at the weekends. Sophie is like a member of the family and a good, strong friendship has been built over the years. She refers to Madeline as her “adopted mum”!
Sophie is a very talented seamstress who can bespoke any dress we have in the boutique. She loves meeting new brides and goes that extra mile to assist brides where she can.
Katy
Katy is also one of our recommended seamstresses and has been part of “The Team” since about April 2024.
Katy is self-employed and has her own company. She is married with one son. She is very highly qualified and used to be the “Head of Costume” in London’s West End Theatres, so we are very lucky to have her assist our Brides, Bridesmaids and Prom girls.
Rose
Rose is known by us all as “The Little Boss”. Rose loves attending the Trade Shows with Donna and Sophie. She has an eye for sparkly dresses – she is a definite magpie in disguise! The designers have known Rose since she was about a year old – she is coming up to 14 – and she certainly lets the designers know if she thinks a style of dress is not good enough to come into the boutique. The designers love her honesty and sometimes even ask her opinion on their new styles at the Trade Shows (they are brave!).
Sometimes, Rose even helps out at Wedding Fairs. Don’t panic ladies, we do not let her loose in the boutique!
